The Self-Worth Expander 💫

I offer an intensive one-to-one BWRT® master session: The Self-Worth Expander, for women who want to change how they feel about themselves quickly, so they can live better lives.

Not only is this a profound modality on its own, it's also a brilliant way to start any personal development journey because low self-worth can affect our ability to see things through or continue because we might feel like we're not worth it...

This intensive session will change all of that, immediately.

Unfortunately, some women with low self-worth won’t even consider having therapy because they don’t see themselves as worthy of the investment, or even believe they are worth ‘getting fixed’ :(.

Every human being on this planet is worthy.

What Causes Low Self-Worth?

There can be so many contributing factors including, but not limited to:

  • A poverty-stricken upbringing
  • Unattentive parents

  • Overly critical teachers

  • Abuse and neglect during childhood

  • Bullying at school

  • Heartbreak and rejection

  • Poor performance at school

  • Financial difficulties

  • Not fitting into an ideal body shape - so everyone then...

And there is always a patriarchal element to how women feel about themselves. When men objectify women (a cornerstone of Western society) it sends a clear message that women are only valuable sexually and we can’t help but internalise that. No wonder so many women feel so terrible about themselves?

Low self-worth is NOTHING to be embarrassed or ashamed about - I lived with extremely low self-worth until I was 34 and then decided to start working on myself, it’s a by-product of modern life.

Self-Worth Is A Feeling.

It’s got nothing to do with who you are, what skills you have or what you have achieved - nobody needs a personal upgrade. It is simply how you feel about yourself.

If you have good self-worth you’ve probably never even thought about it but your life will be organised, meaningful and exciting. If you have low self-worth then you’ll be familiar with the feeling all too well - worthless and not good enough in some or all situations.

Some Signs Of Low Self-Worth:

  • You think other people are better than you (including other women on social media)

  • You get embarrassed when people compliment you

  • You talk badly about yourself including making jokes about your negative traits

  • You ignore your achievements and focus on the negatives

  • You blame yourself in situations when things go wrong

  • You think you don’t deserve to have fun or be happy

  • You avoid new challenges in case you fail and 'make a fool of yourself'

  • You feel disproportionally upset by disapproval or criticism

  • You settle for what you think you can 'get', rather than what you actually want

  • You feel sad, depressed, anxious, ashamed, angry or worthless sometimes or all the time
